Meet Todd Grimshaw.
Todd has worked at SBS Group for over 5 years and recently took on the Smart Hob Consultant role. This involves all client related activity including responding to enquiries, processing orders, visiting sites and providing custom solutions where required.
HOW DOES A TYPICAL DAY START FOR YOU?
A typical day starts at 5.45am – after 20 mins of exercise, a quick shower and protein breakfast, I’m at work by 6.30am to start smashing the sales!
WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE THE MAIN BENEFITS OF USING A PERMANENT STEEL HOB FORMWORK SYSTEM?
Time and cost savings.
The easier, smarter and faster system allows you to form hobs in 50% of the time it takes to form them conventionally. No need to wait for the concrete to set and come back and strip the ply – once it’s set, they just need to be tanked and sealed and you’re done! As a result, this speeds up the whole process of handing over floors.
WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF RECENT HIGHLIGHT PROJECTS YOU’VE WORKED ON?
I’ve loved being involved in supplying the Smart Hobs on some of the bigger projects in Melbourne including Melbourne Quarter. One of the best things about the construction industry is that it never stops. I can’t wait to price up the next big project that comes our way!
HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OUTSIDE OF WORK?
I love to play music and do a bit of exercise…and of course hang out with friends and family!
